Position Overview

Role Purpose

As a Team Leader at GUCCI, you will motivate and guide a passionate group of Client Advisors to achieve exceptional results through a focus on customer satisfaction.

You will actively engage on the sales floor, providing immediate coaching and constructive feedback to meet business and product objectives. Your role will involve nurturing and developing the talent within your team. The Team Leader will embody the brand as a GUCCI Ambassador, advocating for the core values and principles of GUCCI in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management

Being present on the sales floor, you will maintain close contact with your team, offering support and guidance to ensure a seamless client experience; Provide ongoing support and constructive feedback to Client Advisors to foster their growth and maintain high levels of motivation and engagement; Oversee store operations as Manager on Duty, offering leadership and direction to all Client Advisors during shifts; Conduct Store Morning Briefings as needed, communicating essential business updates and daily goals; Encourage cross-category selling and teamwork, ensuring your team is equipped to sell across all product lines; Hold regular performance discussions, reviewing results, identifying opportunities, and creating action plans; Assist in attracting, recruiting, and onboarding a high-performing team; Ensure your team adheres to company policies and procedures, addressing any issues as necessary.

Client Engagement

Inspire your team to deliver an outstanding client experience, ensuring a hospitality mindset is present in every Client Advisor; Cultivate a client engagement approach aimed at building lasting relationships with customers; Achieve business goals by implementing the company’s client segmentation strategy; Fully utilize clienteling tools to activate, retain, and expand both team and personal client bases; Lead clienteling initiatives with your team, developing strategies to meet clear objectives and KPIs; Monitor Client Advisors' performance and collaborate with them on plans to ensure excellence in clienteling; Actively sell and exemplify the selling process from the sales floor; Manage customer flow on the sales floor to ensure all clients receive exceptional service; Address and resolve customer concerns, enhancing and preserving client relationships.

Product Management

Track the performance of assigned product categories and proactively suggest strategies to meet targets; Collaborate with the Store Director and Merchandising team, providing valuable feedback on products and stock levels; Work with the Store Director and Visual Merchandising team to maximize category potential while adhering to store image standards; Partner with the Store Director and Training team to ensure Client Advisors acquire comprehensive product knowledge through targeted training; Leverage digital platforms to support both in-store and online product sales.

Operational Excellence

Collaborate with Operations, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, and other departments while enforcing all company policies; Create accurate monthly schedules and leadership zoning by analyzing peak hours for optimal floor coverage; Uphold visual merchandising standards as set by the global headquarters; Maintain organization of company assets in both back and front of house in accordance with stock guidelines; Ensure daily upkeep of the consignment program to remain compliant with company policies; Track all special orders through effective merchandising communication; Communicate weekly needs for bestsellers through the Business Planning replenishment program.

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience in retail management, luxury retail, or a service-oriented industry. A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred. Ability to analyze sales reports, identify trends, and respond swiftly to business needs. Proven track record of enhancing customer experiences that foster loyalty and deliver measurable outcomes. Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Strong industry awareness and business acumen. Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong organizational abilities. A passion for the fashion industry. Ability to inspire and influence a team with a visionary approach, maintaining integrity and professionalism. Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
