Role Objective
As a Team Leader at GUCCI, you will guide and motivate a committed group of Client Advisors to achieve outstanding results through a focus on customer satisfaction.
You will be actively involved on the sales floor, providing immediate coaching and constructive feedback to meet business and product objectives. Your role will also include nurturing and developing the potential within your team. The Team Leader will embody the brand as a GUCCI Ambassador, advocating for the GUCCI Values and Amplifiers in the marketplace.
Primary Responsibilities
Team Management
Engaging with your team on the sales floor, offering support and coaching to ensure a seamless client experience; Delivering consistent feedback to Client Advisors to promote their ongoing development and maintain high levels of motivation; Overseeing store operations as the Manager on Duty, providing leadership and direction to all Client Advisors on shift; Conducting Store Morning Briefings as necessary, sharing essential business updates and daily goals; Facilitating cross-category selling, ensuring your team is equipped to sell across all product lines; Holding regular performance discussions, evaluating results, identifying opportunities, and creating action plans; Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding of a high-performing team; Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures among your team members;Client Engagement
Inspiring your team to deliver an exceptional client experience, ensuring a hospitality mindset is adopted by each Client Advisor; Fostering a client engagement approach aimed at building enduring relationships with customers; Meeting business goals by leveraging the company's Consumer Management client segmentation strategy; Utilizing various clienteling tools to activate, retain, and expand both team and personal client bases; Leading clienteling initiatives with your team, establishing actions to achieve clear objectives and KPIs; Monitoring Client Advisor performance and collaborating on plans to ensure excellence in clienteling; Actively participating in sales on the floor, exemplifying the selling process; Managing customer flow to ensure all clients receive attention and outstanding service; Addressing and resolving customer concerns, enhancing and preserving client relationships; Collecting valuable customer data to personalize outreach and develop client relationships; Maintaining a strong understanding of KPIs and strategizing when performance metrics are not met; Supporting and aligning with key business initiatives and new product introductions; Leading and assisting with company-driven local events and product launches, ensuring client participation and sales targets are achieved; Representing the GUCCI image through appropriate attire and adherence to company grooming standards.Product Oversight
Tracking the performance of assigned product categories and proactively suggesting action plans to meet targets; Collaborating with the Store Director and Merchandising team to provide feedback on products, stock levels, and specific category needs to drive business growth; Working with the Store Director and Visual Merchandising team to maximize category potential while upholding store image and merchandising standards; Partnering with the Store Director and Training team to ensure Client Advisors acquire comprehensive product knowledge through targeted training, while staying informed about market trends and competitors; Leveraging digital platforms to enhance both in-store and online product sales.Operational Responsibilities
Collaborating with Operations, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, and other departments to enforce company policies and procedures; Preparing accurate monthly schedules and leadership zoning by analyzing peak hours for optimal floor coverage; Supporting and upholding visual merchandising standards established by the global headquarters; Ensuring organization of company assets in both back of house and front of house according to stock guidelines; Maintaining the consignment program to ensure compliance with company policies; Tracking all special orders through effective merchandising communication; Communicating weekly needs for bestsellers through the Business Planning replenishment program.Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in sales management within retail, luxury retail, or service-oriented industries. A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred. Ability to analyze sales reports, identify trends, and respond swiftly to business needs. Proven track record of fostering positive customer experiences that enhance loyalty and yield measurable outcomes. Capacity to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Strong business acumen and industry awareness. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities. A passion for the fashion industry. Ability to inspire and influence a team, demonstrating entrepreneurial vision, integrity, and professionalism. Flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.Core Competencies
