At 8085 Takeda Pharmaceutical Spain, we're committed to shaping the future of healthcare. As the Head of Business Unit Hematology, Plasma-Derived Therapies, Hereditary Angioedema & Transplant, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our company's direction and your own professional growth.

Role Overview

As the Business Unit Head, your primary mission is to set the vision and strategy for our Hematology and Plasma-Derived Therapies business. You'll lead a team that's at the forefront of integrating digital innovation and patient-centric approaches in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute brand and key account plans to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead teams to deliver exceptional patient experiences, exceed customer expectations, and drive performance with innovative sales and digital marketing strategies.
  • Take ownership of the P&L for the BU, implement patient programs, and foster a customer-centric mindset.
  • Uphold compliance with laws, regulations, company strategies, and Takeda's corporate philosophy.
Accountabilities
  • Leadership Responsibility for Sales & Marketing Team:
    • Develop direct reports and promote a cooperative work environment.
    • Ensure customer-centricity and prioritize patient outcomes.
    • Set targets, monitor achievements, and coach employees.
    • Hire, develop, and retain commercial staff in collaboration with HR and GM.
  • Financial & Strategic Planning:
    • Develop BU strategy in cooperation with cross-functional teams.
    • Implement policies to achieve revenue and profit targets.
    • Establish financial plans and inform brand strategy.
    • Assess market dynamics and develop competitive brand strategies.
  • Sales Force Planning and Management:
    • Build account management capabilities and drive key account management.
    • Set Sales Force Effectiveness standards and monitor achievements.
    • Develop Sales Force concept and incentive system.
  • Project Management & Cross-Functional Cooperation:
    • Implement cross-functional plans and promote innovative commercial programs.
    • Collaborate with Medical and Value & Access functions.
    • Collaborate with DDT and Marketing to develop digital marketing campaigns and Omnichannel strategies.
  • Customer Activities:
    • Develop professional relationships with key customers, KOLs, and scientific societies.
    • Identify new opportunities to meet customer needs and support initiatives.
