About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Global Labour Counsel to join our HQ Legal Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a local team of 8 people and evaluating the risks associated with our business model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a local team of 8 people and evaluate the risks associated with our business model.
  • Assist the operations department in adapting our business model to local regulations.
  • Create and implement internal company policies in compliance with local labour regulations.
  • Lead the labour strategy of the Group and define the labour relations strategy nationally and internationally.
  • Manage the relationship, agreements, and negotiations with the different Works Councils of the company.
  • Ensure compliance with all labour compliance, including the Equality Plan and Anti-harassment Protocol.
  • Escalate critical matters to senior management.
Requirements
  • At least 10/12 years of working experience as in-house legal counsel or in a reputed law firm.
  • Law Bachelor Degree with technical specialization in labour and employment law.
  • Excellent English and Spanish language skills, with knowledge of other languages a plus.
  • Expertise in analysis and implementation of strategy balancing business needs.
  • Leadership and excellent people management skills, with proven ability to work in a multinational context.
  • Proven experience working with senior management.
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, high impactful scope, results-oriented, fast execution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Hardworking, problem solver, organized, energetic, proactive.
