Job Summary

The Director of Sales and Revenue Growth is a key leadership position responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for Marriott International's hotels. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and execute sales strategies to achieve property sales objectives and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage sales strategies to achieve property sales objectives and revenue goals
  • Lead a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and revenue growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including ownership, revenue management, and marketing teams
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve hotel sales, revenue, and market share goals
  • Drive customer satisfaction and service focusing on sales effectiveness and creative customer-driven solutions
  • Use data analysis to explore new business opportunities and identify areas for growth
  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve target conversion for reactive and reservation sales
  • Optimize all channels, including 3rd party channels such as OTAs and Group intermediary platforms
  • Partner with revenue management to develop and implement hotel sales and distribution strategies
  • Support the development of hotel positioning within the market and be the voice of the consumer to help shape the long-term positioning strategy of the hotel
Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience in sales, marketing, or revenue management
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies
  • Excellent selling skills and understanding of sales processes
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and set accurate revenue/booking goals
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies for multiple properties
  • Ability to interpret market data and apply to sales strategy
  • Effective decision-making skills and ability to execute against the strategy and drive results
Education and Certification

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or University degree preferred
