HR Operations Specialist for Central Europe

Position Overview
The HR Operations Specialist is accountable for overseeing the administration of employee onboarding, offboarding, role transitions, flexible work arrangements, leave management, data upkeep, and payroll data entry, among other responsibilities.
This role also entails providing support to employees regarding inquiries related to Human Resources and associated policies, procedures, and transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize established procedures, policies, knowledge resources, and other reference materials to assist in addressing and resolving employee and manager inquiries through various communication channels, ensuring effective communication while adhering to service standards.
- Oversee the management of employee personal data maintenance, including new hires, terminations, organizational changes, and other lifecycle events, ensuring compliance with record-keeping regulations.
- Process salary adjustments, bonuses, and other compensation changes utilizing various supporting systems and applications as necessary.
- Accurately gather relevant information for monthly payroll processing, ensuring compliance with audit controls.
- Enhance HR systems data quality by identifying issues and proposing improvements in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Resolve issues within the scope of responsibility and contribute to ongoing process improvement and standardization initiatives, collaborating with other HR Service Center team members, Local HR, and Centers of Expertise as needed.
Participate in HR projects as required while effectively balancing daily operational tasks.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Technology, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proficiency in English.
- Fluency in Romanian is essential.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in HR policies, practices, and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Prior experience with HR systems such as Workday and ServiceNow is necessary.
