As a Service Center Procurement Specialist, you will be part of the Asturias Procurement Service Center, integrated within the Global Service Center of Global Procurement. You will oversee internal purchasing requests for specific commodities and/or geographic regions within EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa), managing all aspects of the procurement process in accordance with DuPont's policies. The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented, solution-focused, possess strong analytical and project management capabilities, and drive results to become a valued Procurement advisor for our clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Addressing and resolving client procurement needs in the local language (both internal and external).
  • Ensuring flawless execution of the procurement process, including the creation and maintenance of purchasing documents, vendor master management, agreement management, and payment resolution.
  • Effectively managing a defined portfolio of low-value and non-strategic contracts and/or suppliers.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and challenging the status quo through innovative ideas.
  • Acting as an active and solution-oriented advisor for the business/country you support through formal client engagement routines.
  • Providing transactional system and process support to the DuPont strategic buying team.
  • Monitoring and executing all transactions in compliance with DuPont's internal controls and policies.
  • Coordinating actions among all internal and external stakeholders to ensure a reliable supply of goods and services.
  • Conducting administration and reporting as necessary (utilizing DuPont systems and external sources).
  • Liaising with regional and global buying teams, offering information and analytical support aligned with their goals on portfolio management and savings.
  • Collaborating on projects and/or networks beyond the immediate team scope.
  • Negotiating and delivering savings to meet business requirements and the objectives of the Asturias Sourcing Center.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

A successful candidate must possess:

  • A university degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in Procure To Pay and/or Supply Chain.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other European language (German, French, Italian).
  • High system expertise and/or experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, and SRM.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Preferred knowledge of commodities.
