Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to lead our culinary department at Manhattan Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for elevating the overall culinary product to new levels of excellence.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires a strong leader with excellent mentor and trainer skills. You will oversee the daily operations of our culinary department, ensuring that all food and beverage outlets meet the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Manage a team of over 60 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Develop and implement new menu concepts and recipes to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high-quality guest experiences.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to maintain profitability.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve operations and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a large property with over 200 rooms and multiple F&B outlets.
  • Proven track record of success in managing large multicultural teams effectively.
  • Formal qualifications such as City and Guilds or equivalent.
  • Excellent business acumen and guest contact skills.
  • Fluent in English.
