About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at our prestigious 5-star hotel in Mallorca. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Leadership: Oversee the culinary team, ensuring seamless kitchen operations and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Menu Development: Create and design diverse, innovative menus that reflect the luxury and sophistication of our hotel, taking into account seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a talented team of chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
  • Quality Control: Maintain rigorous standards for food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organization, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Cost Management: Manage inventory, control costs, and ensure efficient kitchen operations without compromising on quality, optimizing resources and minimizing waste.
  • Guest Experience: Engage with guests, accommodate special requests, and continually elevate the dining experience, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Extensive experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant, with a proven track record of success and leadership.
  • Culinary Expertise: Exceptional culinary skills with a deep understanding of international cuisine and contemporary food trends, with a passion for innovation and creativity.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on training and development, inspiring and motivating team members to achieve their best.
  • Creativity: A passion for culinary innovation and the ability to create unique, memorable dining experiences that exceed guest expectations.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in food presentation and quality, ensuring that every dish that leaves the kitchen meets the highest standards of excellence.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus, enabling effective communication with guests and team members.
