About the Role

We're Victaulic, a leading manufacturer of piping products and solutions. As a Manufacturing Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of our manufacturing processes. This position involves overseeing the end-to-end planning of all orders, managing production schedules, and leading manufacturing meetings to drive efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and ensure timely delivery of products.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, supply chain, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  3. Manage and maintain visual status tools to track production progress and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Conduct regular production meetings to review progress, address issues, and set goals.
  5. Calculate and manage production capacity, including assembly and testing workload.
  6. Determine tooling requirements and conduct capacity analysis to ensure production readiness.
  7. Provide accurate delivery dates to the sales team and communicate production status to the project management team.
  8. Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely and adequate material availability.
  9. Prepare and analyze monthly inventory reports to inform production planning decisions.
  10. Review and update Bill of Materials (BOM) and assembly times as necessary.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing roles, preferably in the valve market.
  2. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  3. Proficiency in using ERPs, particularly Infor M3, for planning and operations.
  4. Fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
