Position Summary
As a Manufacturing Planner , you will be pivotal in orchestrating the comprehensive planning of all production orders, guaranteeing the smooth operation of our manufacturing workflows. This role requires a proactive approach to enhance production efficiency through meticulous order management, visual tracking tools, and leadership in manufacturing discussions.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the overall planning of production orders to ensure timely and effective manufacturing processes.
- Develop and maintain a visual management tool that reflects the manufacturing status of all orders for team accessibility.
- Engage in real-time planning and adjustments using M3 systems.
- Facilitate regular manufacturing meetings to review progress and resolve any challenges.
- Assess the weekly workload for assembly and testing operations.
- Identify tooling requirements and perform capacity assessments to ensure readiness for production.
- Provide accurate delivery timelines to the Sales department during final discussions.
- Relay the status of all ongoing orders to the Project Management team.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to guarantee timely and sufficient material availability.
- Generate monthly inventory reports in conjunction with the Supply Chain team.
- Adjust Bill of Materials (BOM) and assembly times as required.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing environments, ideally within the valve industry.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in ERP systems, particularly Infor M3, for operational planning.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong communication capabilities.
