Tokeny is a pioneering blockchain company that's revolutionizing the financial industry. We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Engineering to lead our talented engineering team and drive innovation in our cutting-edge technology infrastructure.
About the RoleWe're looking for a strategic thinker with a strong technical background to lead our engineering team. As a Head of Engineering, you'll work closely with our CTO and tech leads to develop and execute a comprehensive engineering strategy that aligns with our company goals and objectives.
Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive engineering strategy in collaboration with the CTO, tech leads, and management team.
- Drive the development of scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions that meet customer needs and business requirements.
- Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and maintenance.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
- Establish and maintain best practices for software development, quality assurance, and project management.
- Champion agile methodologies and best practices within the engineering team, promoting a culture of agility, flexibility, and continuous delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to deliver successful outcomes.
- 5+ years of post-academic experience in a software engineering role.
- 3+ proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably as a Head of Engineering or Director of Technology.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Demonstrated success in driving technological innovation within an organization.
- Previous experience in finance and blockchain is a plus.
- Fluent in English.
