Head of Software Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Software Engineering to join our team at Brainboxgroup. As a key member of our Growth Enablement team, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of our software solutions and ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.
About the Role:
The Head of Software Engineering will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers and collaborating with other stakeholders to identify business opportunities and develop solutions that drive growth and revenue. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of software development methodologies and technologies, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of software solutions that meet the needs of our business and customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop solutions that drive growth and revenue.
- Develop and implement software development methodologies and processes that ensure high-quality and efficient delivery of software solutions.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of software engineers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest software development technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their adoption and implementation.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
5+ years of experience in software engineering leadership roles.Strong technical skills, including proficiency in multiple programming languages and software development methodologies.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of software engineers.Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities.Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and communicate the business implications of technical decisions.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a SaaS company or similar environment.Knowledge of CMS platforms such as WordPress or DatoCMS.Experience with measuring the impact of technical decisions on business outcomes.Passion for business and a desire to understand the technical implications of business decisions.What We Offer:
