Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Developer Ambassador to join our team. As a Developer Ambassador, you will play a critical role in promoting our products and services to the developer community.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to our development team, ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  2. Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the developer community, including developers, architects, and engineers.
  3. Product Advocacy: Promote our products and services to the developer community, highlighting their features and benefits.
  4. Content Creation: Develop and publish high-quality content, including blog posts, videos, and social media posts, to engage with the developer community.
  5. Event Participation: Represent our company at industry events, conferences, and meetups, providing technical expertise and thought leadership.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience: At least five years of experience in software development, with a focus on application development, databases, distributed systems, or similar technologies.
  3. Technical Skills: Strong programming skills in Java, with a solid understanding of relational databases and familiarity with the NoSQL space.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  5. Community Engagement: Experience engaging with developer communities, whether through public speaking, writing, or online forums.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Advanced Degree: M.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  2. NoSQL Expertise: Experience working with NoSQL databases, with a strong preference for Redis.
  3. Vector Databases and AI: Knowledge of vector databases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and experience in applied AI engineering.
  4. Container Orchestration: Familiarity with container orchestration environments, such as Kubernetes, and experience deploying and managing applications in these environments.
  5. Cloud and On-Premise Experience: Experience working in both cloud-based (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and on-premise service and technology environments.
