Global Practice Lead: Application Engineering

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our Application Engineering practice. Your primary responsibility will be to spearhead Sales, Delivery, and Enablement initiatives, serving as the go-to authority within Roboyo on priorities and operational strategies for your practice.

You will collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership team to elevate our performance and drive innovation in the ever-evolving landscape of Application Engineering. The vacancy is open to our different locations, offering a unique opportunity to work with a diverse team and contribute to the growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with other Global Practice Leads and CBOs to cohesively integrate the service offerings incorporating all elements from your practice.
  • Support global demand and capacity planning for your practice.
  • Develop and communicate a strategic vision for the practice, ensuring alignment across the entire organization.
  • Foster and promote best practice and knowledge sharing across regions, ensuring high quality assurance in our internal team enablement.
  • Take responsibility for developing and enhancing the practice's offering materials and packages.
  • Lead the development and refinement of role descriptions and collaborate with CBOs on hiring priorities to ensure a balanced skill representation.
  • Provide constructive feedback on the individual contributions to your global practices as part of our careers 2.0 initiative.
  • Escalate critical issues and risks concerning your practice to the C-level.
  • Channel and integrate requests from other parts of the organization into the Practice (such as Delivery, Sales, HR or IT).
  • Designate resources for global initiatives/internal projects related to the practice.
  • Be the gatekeeper for sales/margin in larger Application Engineering proposals.
  • Serve as an external-facing ambassador for the Roboyo brand, promoting specific IP and thought leadership.
  • Act as single point of contact for Partner relationship management on global topics for Appian/Mendix (such as product strategy, go-to-market & pricing strategy).
  • Ensure the amortization of Appian/Mendix partnership deals, including license and service commitments.
  • Provide, arrange, facilitate, and source training for skill development within the practice's responsibilities, including formal and informal training, client training, Storm Talks, etc.
  • Ownership of Solution Design / Architecture for proposals.
  • Revenue Accountability as per our new Target Operating Model.
Requirements Qualifications:
  • Strong background in Application engineering (Appian/Mendix) development and implementation.
  • Proven track record in running and driving practices in a professional services company.
  • Strong commercial awareness and track record of (pre-)selling Application Engineering work in the past.
  • Nice-to-have: Appian/Mendix Lead Developer certification.
