Job Title: Software Engineer (Tech Lead) - Insurance Solutions

At Deutsche Bank, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer (Tech Lead) to join our Insurance Solutions team. As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of a delivery team, making software engineering and design decisions, and guiding team members in technical matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish technical direction and initiative specifications
  • Foster the use of existing frameworks, technical standards, and procedures
  • Oversee software quality and system modifications
  • Guide team members with troubleshooting technical issues
  • Guarantee Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) are properly considered
  • Establish a continuous improvement approach on delivered products
  • Ensure IT Application Life Cycle standards are met
  • Align application changes with the application strategy and technology roadmap
  • Identify and manage risk and issues associated with the application
Requirements:
  • English and Spanish advanced required
  • Technical guidance and decision-making skills
  • Experience and solid knowledge of software engineering, systems testing, design patterns, and software architecture
  • Experience in application solutions from a technological perspective
  • Ability to understand key aspects of technical platforms and infrastructure
  • Development background and demonstrated experience as an analyst
  • Experience on analysis of existing systems from high-level architecture to application code review
  • Experience with technical documentation, architectural diagrams, components, flows, and use cases
  • Demonstrable DevOps-oriented mindset
  • Experience with testing/Quality Assurance (QA) tools
  • Solid technical knowledge and ability to understand complex business processes and workflows
  • Teamwork capacity with multidisciplinary teams
  • Leadership and communication skills
  • High commitment and results-focused
  • Ability to identify risks, resolve conflicts, and plan tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of methodologies in applications development (e.g., Agile)
  • Problem-solving, innovation, ownership, and vision
