Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineering Lead to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating engineering activities for water treatment projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate engineering activities for water treatment projects, including design, engineering, and procurement.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including P&IDs, layouts, and technical specifications.
  • Support the commercial team with engineering hour estimates and bid evaluations.
  • Identify and communicate improvement opportunities and implement changes.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers to develop their technical knowledge and skills.
  • Provide site support activities for projects and ensure compliance with Veolia's policies and procedures.
  • Support and control engineering hours spent, monitoring quality and timelines.
  • Evaluate technical bids from suppliers and lead project technical meetings.
  • Liaise with global product engineering groups to maintain network and exchange knowledge.

Requirements

  • Mechanical, chemical, or environmental engineering degree with a minimum of 10 years' experience in project engineering.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of mechanical and project engineering in water treatment.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken, is a must. French speaking is a plus.
