Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Developer Advocate to join our team. As a key member of our advocacy team, you'll play a critical role in sharing your technical expertise with the developer community, helping users succeed with Redis, and driving product innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Empower Users: Develop engaging content, build demos, and create reference architectures to help users get the most out of Redis.
  • Engage with the Community: Participate in public forums, online discussions, and community meetups to support and guide our user base.
  • Share Your Expertise: Publish technical content, create tutorials, and share your knowledge with our global user base.
  • Present at Events: Represent Redis at developer conferences, community meetups, and sponsored events.
  • Understand and Advocate: Develop a deep understanding of how our products are used by the community and use this knowledge to advocate for the best developer experience internally.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: At least five years in software development, with a focus on application development, databases, distributed systems, or similar technologies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong programming skills in Java, solid understanding of relational databases, and familiarity with the NoSQL space.
