About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to join our team as the Business Unit Head for GI & Vaccines. As a key member of the Iberia Leadership Team, you will be responsible for setting the vision and strategy for our business unit, ensuring the successful execution of brand and key account plans to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead our dedicated teams to deliver exceptional patient experiences, exceed customer expectations, and drive performance with innovative sales and digital marketing strategies.
  • Take ownership of the P&L for the BU and implement targeted patient programs to support access to medicines and compliance.
  • Foster a customer-centric mindset where patient needs come first and uphold compliance with laws, regulations, company strategies, and Takeda's corporate philosophy.
  • Develop and implement cross-functional plans and promote innovative commercial programs.
  • Collaborate with Medical and Value & Access functions, as well as DDT and Marketing to develop digital marketing campaigns and Omnichannel strategies.
  • Develop professional relationships with key customers, KOLs, and scientific societies, and identify new opportunities to meet customer needs and support initiatives.
  • Monitor budget, resource allocation, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives, and monitor competitor activities and ensure adherence to quality standards and legal requirements.
Requirements
  • University Degree qualification.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
  • At least 10 years of resources leading and management in equivalent roles.
  • Successful launch experience in GI & Vaccines or Specialty market and scientific background is preferred but not a pre-requisite.
  • Proven track record of understanding customers' needs and able to translate their needs into highly impactful tactics and solutions.
  • Business acumen and ability to manage a P&L.
