About the Role

As a key member of our Sales Leadership organization, the Market Leader will serve as the General Manager of a large territory, directly reporting to the US Sales Vice President. This role is responsible for owning the Profit and Loss (PL) for the defined market, with primary measures including Gross Profit (GP) and EBITDA. However, success in this position will also be evaluated through customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute, and own the sales and go-to-market strategy within a defined market.
  • Collaborate with the National Service Leaders and Business Operations Leadership Team for North America to execute the VS22 transformation within the market.
  • Contribute to GP growth through nurturing and developing large/key customers and enabling the business to capture market share and new business.
  • Recruit, grow, and retain top-performing sales teams.
  • Drive to and exceed GP and EBITDA goals.
  • Accelerate the transformation of the existing business and new business to drive sales in the defined portfolio buckets: Transactional software business, Managed Services, X-Simple solution offerings, and Digital Supply Chain.
  • Help the NORAM sales organization understand where the SLED team needs investment.
  • Develop a multi-year view of procurement contracts that the SLED team should pursue and prepare the organization to respond to these solicitations.
  • Pursue and lead large statewide and multi-state SLED procurement contract efforts.
  • Understand trends and events that specifically affect how SLED technology is procured and deployed.
  • Form deep relationships with key publisher partners and key publisher resources in the SLED customer base.
  • Implement and maintain processes to ensure procurement contract compliance.
  • Understand areas of risk for SoftwareONE when transacting with SLED entities (legal, financial, business, etc.) and be able to convey mitigation strategies.
  • Drive sales activities for solutions that are viable in the SLED vertical.
