About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Academic Operations Coordinator to join our team at Global University Systems. As a key member of our academic operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the scheduling and timetabling of academic activities for our Barcelona Campus, working closely with the academic leadership and faculty.
  • Assist in the coordination of freelance lecturers, including recruitment, interview scheduling, and contract management.
  • Liaise with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate record-keeping and timely invoicing.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with university partners, ensuring alignment with our academic operations.
  • Provide administrative support to the Provost Chief Academic Officer, including coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
  • Contribute to the development of new initiatives and processes to improve academic operations and student experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, management, or education.
  • Proven experience in higher education administration, preferably in a university setting.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with a strong understanding of academic operations and timetabling software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
