About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Coordinator to join our team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Operations Director, ensuring the smooth operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Operations Director's schedule and coordinate travel arrangements
  • Coordinate the preparation of documents and reports, including confidential materials
  • Assist with press communication and dissemination activities
  • Provide administrative support to the Director's Office, including reception and visitor management
  • Manage office supplies and prepare for institutional meetings
  • Support the Operations Director's international and national activities
  • Monitor and track the progress of ongoing issues
Requirements
  • Professional administrative experience, preferably in a similar role
  • High level of proficiency in English, Spanish, and Catalan
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality
  • Knowledge of IT tools, including Microsoft Office and email software
