About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Operations Coordinator to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the execution of transportation activities for our site, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing site operations and shipments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute transportation and logistics flows, including customs activities, to meet site supply chain requirements.
  • Lead the governance established between the site and transportation service providers in line with the transportation strategy.
  • Maintain and sustain the transportation performance scorecard, focusing on quality of services and costs.
  • Liaise with the Global Transportation team and its pillars to deploy the transportation strategy.
  • Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support strategic programs, projects, and network studies for the Transportation organization to achieve operational objectives.
  • Drive consistency in processes, systems, and data.
  • Team management.
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of the Indirect Sourcing strategy.
  • Participate in Suppliers Performance and Business reviews.
  • Be the main contact for transport RFPs to collect data and build specifications.
  • Be the Site Customs referent.

About You

  • A technical degree in transports or international commerce.
  • 3-5 years of experience in customs management.
  • 3 years of experience in transports management.
  • High-level English skills.
