About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Alstom Gruppe. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the execution of transportation activities, including inbound and outbound shipments, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Planning and Execution: Plan and execute transportation and logistics flows, including customs activities, to meet site supply chain requirements.
  • Provider Management: Establish and maintain relationships with key strategic providers, driving transformation initiatives to improve transportation performance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Maintain and sustain transportation performance scorecards, ensuring quality of services and costs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including the global transportation team, to deploy transportation strategies.
  • Process Improvement: Drive consistency in processes, systems, and data, and contribute to the definition and implementation of indirect sourcing strategies.
Requirements
  • Education: Technical degree in transports or international commerce.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in customs management and 3 years of experience in transportation management.
  • Language: High level of English.
