About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team at ALSTOM Gruppe. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the execution of transportation activities for our Site, ensuring compliance with regulations and process standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute transportation and logistics flows, including Customs activities, to meet Site Supply Chain requirements
  • Lead the governance established between the site and transportation service providers, aligning with our transportation strategy
  • Maintain and sustain the Transportation performance scorecard, focusing on quality of services and costs
  • Liaise with the Global Transportation team and its pillars to deploy the transportation strategy
  • Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support strategic programs, projects, and network studies for the Transportation organization to achieve AT operational objectives
  • Drive consistency in process, systems, and data
  • Team management
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of the Indirect Sourcing strategy
  • Participate in Suppliers Performance and Business reviews
  • Be the main contact for transport RFPs and collect data and build specifications
  • Be the Site Customs referent
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in transportation or international commerce, with 3-5 years of experience in customs management and 3 years of experience in transportation management. A high level of English proficiency is required.
