In this unique role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing new opportunities in the following:
Key Responsibilities- Grow the company footprint in Spain through acquisition of new clients, ranging from small-medium enterprises to corporations across different industries, as well as farming the existing client portfolio to achieve the assigned revenue targets.
- Executing the go-to-market strategy in Spain, leveraging the company's core assets, foreign exchange services, cross-border payments, and currency risk management solutions.
- Leading a team of hunters and farmers, and coaching them to meet the required performance at the individual level.
- Collaborate with other functions both at local and international level - Marketing, Operations, Credit/Risk, Finance, HR, Compliance, etc - to deploy the country's strategic plan and deliver superior service to clients.
- Represent the company in the local business community and interface with the payment service regulators.
- Lead by example in respect of company values, fulfilling business planning duties, making sure the company's policies are respected at the local level.
- Education or equivalent skills are required with a strong desire to grow into a professional sales role.
- Extensive sales leadership experience in a Business-to-Business environment.
- A deep understanding of how to successfully manage a high-performing, target-driven sales team in the financial services industry.
- Results-driven with a proven sales track record, and the desire to coach and develop your team to success.
- An understanding of foreign exchange markets and products is strongly required.
- Ability to successfully work in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication skills, as well as time management, problem-solving, and multitasking proficiency.
- Fluency in Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language is required.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Following the Importante empresa Business Solutions divestiture announcement, recruitment efforts will continue for this position on behalf of Importante empresa. However, as part of the divestiture agreement, this position will transition to the purchasing company should the transaction conclude. The hiring team will be able to answer any questions you may have.
