**The Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining tight control of the Profit and Loss statement, assisting with financial reporting, and overseeing budgeting and forecasting across various areas of the company.

You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize financial data from various sources within the group and prepare financial analysis at different dimensions (Revenue, Opex, Capex, etc).
  • Participate in our month-end close process as well as the quarterly and annual financial closes.
  • Monitor business performance in collaboration with different business units.
  • Prepare and improve our Internal and External Financial Reporting.
  • Participate in our Forecasting, Budgeting, and Long Range Plans.
  • Assist with financial records and bookkeeping in different group entities, including preparing both standalone and consolidated financial statements.
  • Enhance our financial framework through the implementation of automation and advanced tools.
  • Support the accounting team in managing book entries in our ERP.
  • Support business performance and partner with various business units to support strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • At least 4 years of professional experience in the Finance & Controlling areas, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Preferred experience in tech and start-up/scale-up environments.
  • A minimum of 2 years of audit experience is highly valued.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economic and Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Solid experience in forecasting, coupled with a working knowledge of foreign currencies.
  • Experience with Financial Close and exposure to Auditors.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, SAP, databases, ERP.
  • Good knowledge of Spanish GAAP and IFRS, desired but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish (oral/written).
