The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining tight control of the Profit and Loss statement, assisting with financial reporting, and overseeing budgeting and forecasting across various areas of the company. Additionally, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis: Prepare financial analysis at different dimensions (Revenue, Opex, Capex, etc.)
- Financial Reporting: Participate in our month-end close process as well as the quarterly and annual financial closes
- Business Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with different business units to monitor business and financial performance
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and improve our Internal and External Financial Reporting
- Forecasting and Budgeting: Participate in our Forecasting, Budgeting, and Long Range Plans
- Financial Framework: Enhance our financial framework through the implementation of automation and advanced tools
- Accounting Support: Support the accounting team in managing book entries in our ERP
Requirements
Technically
- At least 4 years of professional experience in the Finance & Controlling areas, preferably in a multinational environment
- Preferred experience in tech and start-up/scale-up environments
- Bachelor's Degree in Economic and Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
- Solid experience in forecasting, coupled with a working knowledge of foreign currencies
- Experience with Financial Close and exposure to Auditors
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, SAP, databases, ERP
- Good knowledge of Spanish GAAP and IFRS, desired but not required
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish (oral/written)
