Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Controller to join our team at Yankee Candle. As a Cost Controller, you will be responsible for managing financial operations and monitoring costs of our facility. This is a key role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial operations, including budgeting, cost analysis, and inventory control.
- Monitor and control expenses to ensure they stay within budget and meet financial objectives.
- Prepare financial reports, including cost reconciliations, to enhance management's understanding of plant performance.
- Manage Material Master Data, ensuring the reliability and updating of SAP data regarding raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
- Provide operational support on SAP to other departments.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives from a financial perspective.
Requirements:
- University degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Proven experience as a Plant Controller or Cost Controller in a manufacturing environment.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Good command of MS Office, including advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of SAP, PowerBI, or similar software.
