Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Channel Product Area Lead to join our team at Deutsche Bank. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the development and operational management of our client-facing digital platforms, including online and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the digital channels product area, encompassing online banking, mobile applications, and other digital platforms.
  • Ensure these channels align with company objectives and meet the evolving needs of our diverse client base.
  • Manage and implement digitalization strategies, with a focus on achieving targets related to revenue generation, product alignment, customer satisfaction, and cost management.
  • Manage the delivery of digital banking services, including Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Third-Party Payments, Wallets, and Automated Applications, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of digital products, from conception to launch and beyond.
  • Ensure products are innovative and meet customer demands.
  • Lead and motivate the Digital Banking team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Drive team performance to achieve business goals and contribute to the growth and profitability of the digital channels.
  • Review and evaluate existing processes for opportunities to enhance efficiency through digitalization and automation.
  • Lead transformation initiatives that optimize operational performance.
  • Ensure the continuity and high performance of digital and self-service channels.
  • Promote their adoption among customers to drive engagement and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with international and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of digital initiatives.
  • Align project goals with broader business objectives.
  • Negotiate and coordinate with business stakeholders to integrate digital channel strategies with overall company goals.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and support.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions to generate new product ideas and spearhead the development and implementation of innovative digital solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with digital technology providers, industry peers, and key stakeholders to stay ahead of market trends and technological advancements.
  • Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to inform digital strategies.
  • Recommend enhancements based on market trends and technologies.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets for digital projects, ensuring expenditures are within budget and aligned with financial objectives.
  • Monitor financial performance to ensure successful implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the digital banking or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of working with Agile methodologies and leading Agile teams.
  • Strong experience in managing online banking and mobile application services for both individual and corporate clients.
  • Excellent teamwork capabilities in an international setting.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to coordinate with various business stakeholders.
