Senior 3D Art Supervisor

We are in search of a talented and enthusiastic Senior 3D Art Supervisor to join our esteemed Ubisoft development team. If you are passionate about video games and thrive in a collaborative, multicultural setting, we would love to have you on board.
As a vital member of our diverse development group, the Senior 3D Art Supervisor will work closely with the Studio Art Director to define and achieve artistic objectives for various projects. This role involves overseeing the art team's progress, mentoring team members, and ensuring the quality of production outputs while guiding specific aspects of game development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the produced assets to ensure they meet the required technical 3D standards and methodologies.
- Propose innovative solutions to achieve project goals effectively.
- Facilitate the professional growth of team members.
- Assist the team with ongoing tasks whenever feasible.
- Maintain and update documentation related to our 3D processes.
- Manage the seasonal 3D workload and backlog to identify inconsistencies or missing details.
- Supervise and allocate the resolution of bugs reported by the team.
- Provide progress updates to the Associate Producer regarding the team's output.
- Engage in performance evaluations and contribute to the assessment of 3D team members.
- Act as a liaison for discussions between Art Direction, Technical Direction, and Strategy Teams.
- Collaborate with other leads and team members.
- Champion leadership within the 3D team, fostering a culture of quality, creativity, and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a Senior or Lead Artist position within the video game industry.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with strong leadership skills and effective delegation.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities with colleagues across various departments.
- Proficient in modeling, UV unwrapping, and texturing.
- Solid understanding of 3Ds Max, Zbrush, Photoshop, Substance Painter, and Designer.
- Familiarity with technical constraints related to real-time rendering, 3D engines, and level design tools.
- Ability to comprehend specific pipeline requirements for customization and suggest enhancements.
- Open to feedback and willing to adapt based on constructive criticism.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
- Passionate about video games with extensive knowledge of various genres across platforms.
- Positive mindset and a genuine team player.
- Receptive to guidance and eager to learn from others.
- Experience with Rainbow Six Siege or knowledge of MTX asset production is advantageous.
