Key Responsibilities- Lead the cultivation and maintenance of crops, including preparation of fields and greenhouses, sowing, transplanting, nutrition, irrigation, crop protection, disease control, climate control, and crop management.
- Oversee the maintenance of equipment and greenhouses, ensuring optimal working conditions and minimizing downtime.
- Manage a team of temporary and fixed employees, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with breeding teams to understand the purpose of trials conducted at our research facilities and prioritize crops accordingly.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve crop yields, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
- Master's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or Horticulture.
- At least 5 years of experience managing a farm in agriculture, seed business, vegetable production, or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of crop management, including genetics, breeding, and crop protection.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Fluent in English.
