Process Improvement Engineer

Eaton is seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Engineer to join our team. As a Process Improvement Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Operations in achieving plant Continuous Improvement objectives, including productivity enhancements and 5S audits;
- Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to improve existing processes, enhance safety, and address ergonomic concerns;
- Provide technical support on equipment, layout, tools, and machines to ensure low-cost, high-quality production;
- Implement the manufacturing of new products or product lines, focusing on efficient processes and repeatable designs;
- Develop proposals for integrating new technology as appropriate;
- Prepare capital expenditure requests and maintain frequent interactions with external suppliers and regulatory agencies;
- Offer administrative support, including the creation of value stream maps and standard work instructions;
- Facilitate lean cultural change and coordinate Kaizen events with multi-functional team members.
- National Diploma or degree from an accredited institution;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook), Power BI, SAP, VISIO;
- Knowledge and experience with Process Improvements approaches and CI tools like Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Lean Six Sigma, Standardized Work, 5S, Kanban and Agile;
- Excellent customer service and communication skills;
- Ability to relate well to people at all levels of the organization;
- Demonstrate accountability, passion, and a willingness/desire to learn;
- Good stakeholder management and strong collaboration skills;
- Experience in process development.
