Compensation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Specialist to join our People team at Back Market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the compensation internationally, driving and implementing an innovative compensation strategy, and deploying and managing the yearly compensation review process worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the compensation internationally, ensuring fairness, competitiveness, and equity.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive compensation strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Deploy and manage the yearly compensation review process worldwide, including process automation and optimization.
- Manage the bonus payout worldwide, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Oversee the equity attribution, tool, and exercising processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Co-create the first BSI/Individual Compensation and Benefits supporting documents, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Guarantee internal equity and competitiveness, ensuring that compensation practices are fair and transparent.
- Update and maintain compensation ranges according to the company's philosophy, ensuring fairness, competitiveness, and equity.
- Support People partners on compensation questions and Talent Acquisition team on offer definition, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
- Participate in salary surveys and provide business benchmarks when needed, ensuring informed decision-making.
- Participate in global projects, such as benefits setup, budget definition, forecast, and ad-hoc analysis, ensuring seamless execution.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A significant experience in Compensation (at least 3 years), with in-depth knowledge of C&B practices.
- Experience working in a fast-growing and international environment, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make complicated concepts simple.
- Proficiency in Excel/Gsheet, with the ability to analyze and present complex data.
- English language proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with global teams.
