Puig, a leading player in the global fashion and beauty industry, is seeking a skilled Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join its Human Resources team in Barcelona, Spain.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compensation and benefits, with a focus on developing and implementing competitive and cost-efficient programs that drive employee retention and attract top talent.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive compensation and benefits strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
- Provide research and analytical support in the design and administration of strategic reward programs, including merit and bonus payouts.
- Oversee the management of local compensation and benefits surveys to obtain market data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the proper administration of mobility provisions affecting compensation and benefits.
- Educate local Human Resources teams on best practices in compensation and benefits management.
- Manage ongoing audits by regulatory agencies or third-party auditors as needed.
- Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance the administration of compensation and benefits.
- Conduct regular competitive market analysis to inform compensation and benefits decisions.
- Complete monthly and annual reporting requirements at regional and corporate levels.
- Ensure recognition and rewards are managed fairly and consistently.
- Stay up-to-date on government regulations governing compensation and benefits and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
- Monitor data integrity of various systems.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- 2-3 years of experience in compensation and benefits.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Knowledge of HR systems, including HR SAP and Success Factor.
- Excellent conflict resolution skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and management skills.
- Knowledge of job evaluation methodologies, such as Hay Group, Mercer, or Willis Towers Watson.
