About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Specialist to join our People team at Back Market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing compensation internationally and driving innovative compensation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive compensation strategy that aligns with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage the yearly compensation review process worldwide, ensuring process automation and optimization.
  • Deploy and manage bonus payouts worldwide, ensuring fairness and equity.
  • Manage equity attributions, tools, and exercising processes, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Co-create our first BSI/Individual Compensation and Benefits supporting documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Guarantee internal equity and competitiveness, ensuring our compensation packages are competitive in the market.
  • Update and maintain our compensation ranges according to our philosophy, ensuring fairness and competitiveness.
  • Support our People partners on compensation questions and our Talent Acquisition team on offer definitions.
  • Participate in salary surveys and provide business benchmarks when needed.
  • Participate in global projects such as benefits setup, budget definition, forecast, and ad-hoc analysis.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in Compensation (3 years at least), with in-depth knowledge of C&B practices.
  • Experience working in a fast-growing and international environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to make complex concepts simple.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Gsheet, with ability to analyze and present data effectively.
