Legal Counsel Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our EMEA & LATAM team at NetApp. As a trusted partner to our business, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue through commercial technology agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial technology agreements, including framework agreements, software-as-a-service (SaaS), license and services agreements, data privacy and information security agreements with customers and partners.
  • Conduct legal analyses and risk assessments to identify potential legal issues and provide proactive recommendations and actionable guidance on legal issues and risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer deals to execution and design scalable processes for implementation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of standard agreements and legal processes for customer and partner agreements.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to practice law in one of the following locations: France, Spain, or Italy.
  • Fluent in French and English (mandatory), Italian or Spanish (optional).
  • 5+ years of legal experience (preferably in-house at a technology company) supporting sales transactions and contractual negotiations.
  • In-depth knowledge of software, hardware, and cloud agreements and associated business models, and technology industry regulations and trends.
