About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a Cloud Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for providing consultative architectural and operational guidance to our customers to help them achieve the greatest value from AWS.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build Solutions and Provide Technical Guidance: You will build solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for the customer to ensure they achieve the greatest value from AWS.
  2. Ensure Operational Health: You will ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity.
  3. Develop Trusting Relationships: You will develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  4. Drive Technical Discussions: You will drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
  5. Consult with Partners: You will consult with a range of partners from developers through to C-suite executives.
  6. Collaborate with Teams: You will collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
  7. Proactively Find Opportunities: You will proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
  8. Provide Detailed Reviews: You will provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and detailed prelaunch planning.
  9. Provide Post-Sales Expertise: You will provide post-sales, consultative expertise as part of a wider Enterprise Support team.
  10. Solve Customer Problems: You will solve a variety of problems across different customers as they migrate their workloads to the cloud.
  11. Uplift Customer Capabilities: You will uplift customer capabilities by running workshops, brown bag sessions, etc.
