About the Role:
The Associate Director Enterprise Architect will play a key role in leading the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Enterprise Architecture team at Novartis. This individual will be responsible for defining the overall IAM strategy and architecture, ensuring alignment with Novartis' technology and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain IAM standards, architecture patterns, and contribute to the overall Novartis technology strategy.
- Provide technical leadership for IAM transformation projects, including evaluating business requirements, security technologies, and planning technology deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of IAM solutions.
- Contribute to the development of overall Novartis technology strategies, designs, standards, and procedures that support business strategies.
- Ensure IAM applications are effectively security tested throughout development and its lifecycle.
- Report on IAM statistics across the company.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IAM.
- University degree in a business, technical, or scientific field or comparable education/experience.
- 10+ years of experience in the Identity and Access Management domain, with a minimum of 5 years in an architecture capacity and 5+ years of IAM project experience.
- Demonstrated security architecture conceptual skills, solutions delivery, and decision-making, incorporating sound security principles and emerging technologies.
- Prior experience in IAM policy, standards, guidelines, and patterns definition.
- Strong knowledge of IAM governance processes, Azure AD security technologies, and IAM capabilities of major cloud providers.
- Experience in reporting to and communicating with senior-level management, with excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proven experience in initiating and managing projects that affect other divisions, departments, and functions.
- Experience working in a multi-vendor, global environment and leading technical teams.
- Professional information security certification, such as CISSP, CCSP, or CISM.
- Prior experience in leading IAM transformation projects.
- English.
