Enterprise Architect Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic team at Roche. As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the organization's technology strategy and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise architecture framework that integrates sustainability principles into all aspects of the organization.
  • Drive the design, engineering, and reuse of applications or patterns, ensuring a continuous flow of value and improving time to market.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess sustainability needs and requirements, and develop lean business cases.
  • Manage the evolution of the domain IT landscape, ensuring it enables business capabilities and maintains the current and future desired IT landscape.
  • Provide expertise to bring together different requirements and dimensions needed to support the development of current and future direction.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand and align the organization's sustainability goals with enterprise architecture.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in architecting/implementing software solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience managing architecture on portfolio level.
  • Ability to build/create proof of concept/pilot applications to showcase platform functionality to business partners/stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with sustainability frameworks, such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ISO 14001.
