We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Finance Vice President to join our team in Wholesale Banking. As a key member of our Corporate Finance team, you will be responsible for leading the origination and execution of advisory transactions in the context of relevant corporate events such as acquisitions, disposals, refinancings, restructurings, or initial public offerings (IPOs).
Key Responsibilities- Marketing and Business Development: Develop and oversee marketing materials, including company profiles, pitch books, and presentations. Supervise financial models and general financial analysis, and lead sector presentations to support senior bankers on the origination.
- Deal Execution: Lead the execution of transactions, including financial modeling, marketing materials preparation, and deal team management. Coordinate input from various teams and review and support the negotiation of legal documentation.
- Client Relationship Management: Strengthen client relationships and assume business development and marketing responsibilities. Coach junior team members throughout the origination process and deal execution.
- 6-9 years of professional experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, Transaction Advisory Services, or similar advisory roles in Corporate Finance.
- Ability to lead detailed financial, business, and commercial analysis and a full understanding of the general process and materials required in M&A transactions.
- Excellent financial modeling skills, including DCF, LBO, and DDM.
- Genuine interest in Corporate Finance and ability to earn trust and respect of clients, colleagues, and senior management.
- Proven ability to lead deal teams under supervision of a Director or Managing Director.
- Previous international professional experience highly valued.
- Proven track record in sectors such as Renewables, Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT), Financial Sponsors, or Food and Beverage.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written. Other languages a plus. Strong communication and commercial skills.
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or similar education with financial and numerical knowledge.
- Additional requirements: hard worker with ability to drive multiple activities in parallel, attention to detail, delivery of top-quality documents, ability to work collaboratively across functions, and enthusiasm and ambition to learn.
