About the Role

The Senior Vice President of Group Strategy will play a critical role in driving the strategic direction of Brambles, a leading global supply chain solutions company. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing the company's overall strategy, ensuring alignment with the CEO and the Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company's overall strategy, ensuring alignment with the CEO and the Board of Directors.
  • Lead the development of strategic plans and initiatives, working closely with regional presidents and functional strategy leads.
  • Identify global areas of opportunity and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Lead the annual strategy planning process, ensuring that individual business unit and regional plans are consistent with the overall corporate strategy.
  • Partner with Investor Relations to ensure the company's strategies and plans are well-articulated and appreciated by the external market.
  • Work closely with Corporate Finance to oversee the Group-wide portfolio of investments and ensure that Brambles maximizes its performance and deploys capital to the most important priorities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong track record of developing and executing strategic plans, with a proven ability to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage with senior stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of professional experience in strategic planning and execution, with a strong track record of driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans, with a strong understanding of business operations and financial management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage with senior stakeholders across the organization.
  • MBA or Graduate Degree in Strategic Planning or a related field.
