Job Description

Job Title: Global Service Account Director

Job Summary:

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Service Account Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important large customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel to meet account performance expectations and customers' expectations
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable onshore and offshore service sales volume and strategic targets in assigned accounts
  • Guide the strategic account planning process to develop shared performance goals, revenue targets, and significant deadlines
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Manage solution development efforts to create new specific service solutions that best address customer needs
  • Support the growth, profitability, and governance of offshore service sales in line with Vestas' expectations
  • Work with the Pricing Department to introduce and set the Fair Value Capture concept into Offshore Service Sales
  • Facilitate coordination and strategy sales-service alignment for key WTG sales processes

Requirements:

  • Master / bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Demonstrated commercial / sales management skills and, ideally, a high level of Wind Energy market knowledge
  • Knowledge and understanding of Offshore is advantageous
  • Should be a leader, highly motivated, proactive, and a team collaborator
  • Great negotiation skills are a must for the position
  • Fluent in English written and spoken
