About the Role

Criteo is seeking a highly skilled Account Strategist to join our Emerging DACH team in Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the continued expansion of our business around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Provide exceptional operational service to clients, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery of projects.
  • Coaching and Development: Be open to coaching and mentoring by peers, proactively working on developing your strengths and areas for improvement.
Project Involvement

You will manage side projects that have a significant impact on your individual book of business or team, driving growth and innovation with support from team lead, manager, or peers.

Client Management
  • Account Growth: Provide operational account management to small to medium-sized advertisers, growing revenue and optimizing accounts to improve performance for the client.
  • Partnership Development: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with small to medium-sized clients at all levels, from Traffic Manager to CMO.
  • Digital Strategy: Advise on clients' digital strategy and educate advertisers on Criteo's technology across channels and devices, articulating this to different stakeholders within the client company.

You will be credible and seen as a trusted account manager.

You will be able to use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to drive business growth and client engagement.

Performance Analysis
  • Account Optimization: Optimize accounts to improve performance for small to medium-sized clients and identify growth opportunities, providing consultative guidance on contextual market challenges and recommended solutions.
  • Client Retention: Work to proactively anticipate and reduce the likelihood of possible client churn, providing market knowledge to support their long-term development.
  • Measurement and Attribution: Respond to questions around measurement, specifically incrementality and attribution, guiding clients based on their marketing goals.
Demonstrating Upselling Capacity
  • Negotiation Skills: Show effective and impactful negotiation skills that positively impact your book of business.
  • Consultative Approach: Use a consultative approach to upsell new solutions, understanding clients' objectives and pitching relevant solutions connected to their short-term business plans.
Strategic Portfolio Growth
  • Innovative Perspectives: Inspire the growth of clients by promoting innovative cross-channel perspectives.
  • Campaign Success: Create successful campaigns in line with clients' objectives.
  • CRM Management: Successfully keep all relevant information from interactions with clients in our CRM.

About You

  • Business Acumen: Possess business sense to handle a multitasking environment where prioritization is key.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of all core MS Office applications.
  • Passion for New Media: Passion for new media, internet trends, and continual learning.
  • Dynamic Environment: Ability to work and deliver strong results in a dynamic environment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasive skills across all levels.
  • Consultative Skills: Ability to act as a consultant and be reactive in front of any potential situations.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical skills and attention to detail to explore product performances and explain any recommendations made.
  • Sales and Client Service: Proven sales and client service track record, ideally in a tech-related field.
  • Language Skills: Business fluent in German AND English - both spoken and written.
