About the Role
Bruker is a leading analytical instrumentation company that enables scientists to make breakthrough discoveries and develop new applications that improve human life. As a Service Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise to customers and colleagues, ensuring the efficient installation, commissioning, and maintenance of our products.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical support and assistance to customers and colleagues through remote diagnosis and on-site visits.
• Familiarize yourself with specific instrumentation prior to installation, using issued documentation and/or participation in the final testing process in the factory.
• Liaise with customers and colleagues in the site planning process prior to installation.
• Inspect, install, set up, test, and achieve specifications of systems and accessories at customers' sites, and deliver basic operator training.
• Carry out breakdown and planned maintenance at customers' sites.
• Validate systems to certifiable standards and provide technical input to the sales team in non-routine sales cases.
• Frequent travel within Spain and Portugal, with occasional travel to customer sites abroad, especially within Europe.

Requirements
• A tertiary level qualification in electrical or electronic engineering, degree in chemistry or a related discipline, or equivalent knowledge and skill gained through practical experience in the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry field.
• Specialized knowledge in techniques such as GC, LC, MS Triple Quadrupole, QTOF, and Maldi TOF MS is an advantage.
• A solid technical or scientific background gained in industry or academia.
• A current driving license valid in Spain and Portugal, with no visa restrictions preventing travel in the USA or EU.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including good spoken and written English, Spanish as a native language, and other European languages as a plus.
