Network Infrastructure Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and implement innovative network infrastructures within an open-source framework, primarily focusing on virtualized systems. Develop, strategize, and enhance operational technology security protocols and vulnerability management in renewable energy facilities. Plan and execute the deployment of network architectures and segmentation. Strengthen software and operating systems (Linux/Windows) against potential threats. Engage in project participation and provide advanced support, particularly for extensive and intricate wind energy projects globally. Assist in worldwide software deployment and automation of builds utilizing Azure DevOps. Collaborate with first and second-level support teams. Conduct troubleshooting for designated applications. Create and maintain relevant software documentation for support teams. Foster close collaboration with various departments in a multicultural setting.CANDIDATE PROFILE:
A degree in computer science, telecommunications, electrical engineering, or a similar field with substantial practical experience in network engineering. Profound knowledge of operating systems such as Linux and Windows, alongside Java applications. Proficiency in PowerShell and database management. Strong analytical skills and a logical approach to complex systems and architectures. Comprehensive understanding of firewalls, routers, and networking protocols. Familiarity with security protocols and devices including stateful firewalls, IPS, VPN, IPSec, SSL/TLS, and L2 security measures. Excellent command of English (both written and spoken); additional skills in Spanish and German are advantageous. Highly organized individual with a commitment to learning new technologies. Demonstrates strong initiative, hands-on approach, and effective communication and teamwork abilities, complemented by intercultural awareness. Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
