Job Summary

CIVIR is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Design and Implementation
    • Design and implement network topologies to meet business requirements.
    • Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting
    • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal network uptime.
    • Use logical network diagnostic approaches to identify and resolve faults and problems.
  • Security and Compliance
    • Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure meets business needs.
    • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills
    • Routing and switching background supporting cross-vendor extended networks.
    • Proven experience administering F5 Big IP.
    • Proven experience administering DNS records.
    • Proven experience supporting NSX Distributed Firewalls.
    • Logical network diagnostic approach to faults and problems.
    • Confident troubleshooting knowledge using TCP Dumps, PCAP files.
    • Working knowledge of security network technologies, including firewalls, proxy, IPS, WAF, VPN.

  • Education and Experience
    • 3+ years of experience in network engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Skills
    • Understanding of Checkpoint Firewalls and policies.
    • Technical hands-on experience using Cisco ACI multi-site, multi-pod 4.2 and above.
    • Experience with IBM Netcool Monitoring & Compliance tooling.
  • Language Skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
