About the Role

As a Network Infrastructure Specialist at Utimaco Management GmbH, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining global network infrastructure services. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our network services, including planning, installation, and administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for IT Network services, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.
  • Continuously improve existing network services, identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the cloud team to support the migration of infrastructure services to the cloud, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Participate in major projects (MA projects) and their integration, contributing to the development of new network architectures and services.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of network architectures, ensuring they meet the company's requirements and standards.
  • Document network services and processes, adhering to ITIL and PRINCE2 methodologies.
  • Promote information exchange among departments, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting the company's internal customers.

Requirements

  • Certified Cisco Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar environment.
  • Expertise in Cisco Catalyst 9xxx, Cisco Nexus Switches, Cisco Firepower, Cisco DNA, ISE, Secure Network Analytics, DCIM, IPAM tools, and network analysis and penetration testing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply a structured approach to work.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written, with proficiency in German a plus.
