Research Engineer Aerosol Forecast Products Specialist

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Engineer to join our Atmospheric Composition group at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). The successful candidate will work closely with our team of researchers and experts to develop and maintain high-quality forecast models for aerosol products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze aerosol data from various sources
  • Develop and deliver training sessions on aerosol forecast products
  • Contribute to the development of new aerosol forecast models
  • Write technical documentation and user guides
  • Participate in dissemination and communication activities
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Environmental Science
  • Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages
  • Experience in writing technical documentation in English
  • Knowledge of atmospheric science and geo-spatial data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
