Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and applying numerical models to better understand and predict the spatiotemporal variations of atmospheric pollutants and their effects on air quality, weather, and climate.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain numerical models for aerosol forecasting
- Collaborate with the Atmospheric Composition group to advance our understanding of atmospheric pollutants and their impacts
- Contribute to the development of forecast products for aviation, solar energy, and air quality
- Participate in the training and know-how transfer of dust modeling, assimilation, and forecast products to early-stage researchers and students
